Game Update

Leagues close with this update. Mythical rank, Last Man Standing, Texas Hold'em, Amoxliatl, display names, titles, and Desert Treasure II, plus a pile of fixes since the last changelog.

Leagues close

Leagues close with this update. Log the League name in once, pick a main, and leftover points go there. That League name then stays locked.

  • You can log that League name once after close, anytime. There is one prompt. Then it cannot log in again.
  • Type an existing main, iron, or GIM. Not another League name. Extra League names can still send to the same main.
  • Spend the points at the Leagues Tutor shop at home, on the main.

Last Man Standing

::lms takes you to Ferox Enclave. Talk to Lisa or walk the Casual, Competitive, or High Stakes barriers. Justine sells rewards for LMS points.

  • Casual, Competitive (free), and High Stakes (5m coins to enter). Irons cannot play High Stakes.
  • Every two hours a Competitive event is up. That winner gets an LMS mystery box.
  • Justine: Deadman's chest, legs, and cape 160 points. Swift blade 350. Guthixian icon 500. Vesta's longsword (inactive) 300. God halos 450.

Texas Hold'em

::gambling takes you to the tables. Click a table to sit. Buy-in is store credits. Irons cannot sit.

  • Low stakes: 10 to 90 credits. Blinds 1 / 2.
  • High stakes: 100 to 1,000 credits. Blinds 10 / 20.

Desert Treasure II

Vardorvis, Duke Sucellus, the Leviathan, and the Whisperer are killable. Drop tables are reworked.

  • Duke Sucellus at Ghorrock. Escape and Quick-escape are in the room.
  • Vardorvis at the Stranglewood ritual site. Uniques 1/136, or 3/136 awakened.
  • The Leviathan from The Scar boat.
  • The Whisperer in Lassar Underground. Bring a Blackstone fragment.
  • Slayer helm works on the unawakened fights.

Amoxliatl

Solo frost nagua in the Ruins of Tapoyauik. Use the Amoxliatl boss teleport, then the door into the instance. Walk in to spawn her. Death is unsafe. The grave sits outside.

  • Always 2 to 20 Frozen tears. The main table rolls twice.
  • Pendant of ates (inert) 1/25. Glacial temotli 1/100. Key half 1/125. Elite clue box 1/200.
  • Infernal tecpatl component 1/750. GodForge it with 70 GodForge, 900 Slayer remnants, 450 War remnants, and 300 God remnants.
  • Infernal tecpatl is a two-hand demonbane that hits twice. 15% extra accuracy and damage vs demons. Spec Brand is 4 hits at +25% accuracy and max for 50% special.

Display names

::displayname or ::changename changes the name other players see. Your login name stays the same.

  • 1 to 12 letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, or underscores.
  • One free change every 28 days.
  • A Name change scroll grants one extra change so you can skip the wait. Redeem it, then use ::displayname.
  • The old name stays reserved for a while so it cannot be taken immediately.

Loyalty titles

::titles opens the title shop. Buy a title with coins and put it in front of or after your name. Coin titles start at 10m (Cheerful) and go up to 500m (Veteran, Jack of All Trades).

Mythical rank

Mythical is the new member rank at $35,000 lifetime spend. It keeps everything Catalytic has.

  • +35% Fortune's Favor. +25% pet drops. +125% blood money.
  • Coal bag holds 2,500. Four extra vote points. Birdhouses finish in 5 minutes.
  • Eternal and up can ::xeric for one hour, once every 12 hours.

Yell tags

A Custom yell tag scroll is 1,000 credits in the store. Consume it to unlock ::yelltags. Three saved slots. Apply the first tag straight away. Switching tags or reclaiming the scroll waits 3 days.

Augmented Mystery Box

An Augmented Mystery Box opens to one of these. Every reward is the same chance. Two coin piles come with it.

  • Flaming skull: red, green, blue, purple, black, or orange.
  • Icyenic wings, Zamorak wings, or Crystalline wings.
  • Rainbow scythe, Blazing flamberge, or Profound halo.
  • Flaming head, Bad weather umbrella, Sunglasses (dark).
  • Legendary horns, Skullbuster hat, Ban hammer.
  • Bottomless Sherlock's notes, Bottomless cursed smelling salts, or Bottomless Xeric's precision.
  • Two coin piles, 2.5m to 10m each.

Shops

  • PvM Arena shop: PvM mystery box is 1,000 points (was 2,000). Dwarf cannon set is 500 (was 1,000).
  • During a PvM Arena fight, Nurse pads drop at your feet every minute. Health heals. Speed makes you swing faster. Power makes you hit harder. They are taken when the fight ends.
  • Elixir of strength and Felix Felicis are 500 points each. A Mystery box is 1,250.
  • Buying a Premium Pin now counts toward Deal Streak. A $99.99 pin counts as $100.

Bug Fixes

  • Araxxor eggs still hatch in enrage. If Perfect Araxxor fails, Perfect Araxxor 2 fails and toasts.
  • Dying at Araxxor drops the grave outside the instance.
  • Breaking a Grotesque Guardians combat achievement now toasts the fail, including if you leave.
  • Rise of the Six brothers count toward the Barrows daily.
  • Theatre of Blood Back in My Day now completes if the raid had no scythe. A leftover scythe from an earlier raid this login no longer blocks it.
  • Escape crystal Auto-AFK now works in the open world. Mouse, camera, clicks, and typing reset the idle timer. The next hit while you are standing still extracts you, same as a ring of life.
  • Fusing or wielding the holy-sang scythe of Vitur needs the Crimson Covenant perk. Dismantle still works. The extra 10% is perk-only.
  • Holy and sang scythes weigh 3.175kg, same as a Scythe of Vitur.
  • Skeleton lantern uses the warhammer swing when you attack.
  • Craw's bow will not fire on the last 1,000 activation ether. It needs real ammo ether.
  • An uncharged Eye of Ayak with leftover tear charges cleared can be traded.
  • Cerberus lava pools stop when she dies or you do. They no longer keep hitting an empty room.
  • Juna combines a Guthixian icon and a Staff of the dead into a Staff of Balance. Noted shop icons count. It is irreversible.
  • Flask of fervour blasts are PvM only. They do not hit or skull players.
  • If an instance dumps you, a follow-off minion snaps back to you.
  • Loading a preset that swaps weapons keeps the attack style you had remembered.
  • ::dd slayer teleports into the Wilderness ask the Crystal of Echoes confirm again.
  • After the first cut, the fletching knife stays 2-tick. Battlestaves are 4 then 3.
  • Sulphur naguas drop a hard clue scroll box at 1/256.
  • Undead druids drop earth runes at 1/20. Snape grass seed is one seed.

Quality of Life

  • Game Settings no longer freeze the client.
  • The vote board no longer opens a site while that site's timer is still running.
  • ::dr now shows the 400-vote board perk (+5% Fortune's Favor).
  • Royal blue scythe and Maize team cape x can be traded.
  • Turning on 1x XP drops on the orb now shows 1x splats. You still earn the real XP.
  • If this connection already took starter-task rewards, later tasks toast that you will not get another set.
  • Bounty Hunter overlay hide/show uses the right toggle, and the HUD updates when you reopen it.
